![]() ![]() Placed an order online - cancelled it a few hours later (as I needed products faster than would be delivered to the store) and was told that the order was now cancelled and that my payment would be refunded. Staff don't know how to process a cancelled order - took 2x weeks It left a bad impression and I hope that other staff members are better trained in excellent customer service than Emily. It was most unwelcome to be touched by this female staff member. Also pushing my hand out of the way may be considered to be assault. Having worked in customer service and sales for the last thirty years this was extremely poor customer service. ![]() She reaches for the electrical socket and turns off the printer. I plead with her to allow me just four pages to print. I politely ask to print four, just 4 pages, and was about the push the print button when the person forcefully pushes my hand away. At 6pm this person comes to the printer and holds her mobile phone in front of my face showing 6pm and declares that is closing time. Using the printer just before closing time a staff member walks up to me and in a loud voice proclaims that the store will be closing in two minutes. Thanks mate, you've been a great help! I honestly would have thought that being a technology heavy product store that they would be trained in atleast technology malfunctions and return/exchange policies. In which he didn't wish to pursue the conversation or help me further and decided to tell me to just bring it back to the other store I purchased from and let them deal with the problem instead. I went to my local store (not the one I purchased from) and the man behind the counter couldn't tell me: - if it would be replaced - if it would be fixed - what happens after they would take it in - how long it would take etc And I understand that if you don't know the answer, you can always find out from colleagues. I spoke to the store I bought it from who the person said I was able to take it back to ANY Officeworks store with my receipt. I bought a monitor 6 months ago for it to be faulty and stop working. I am not a person to ever complain or write a review however as I walked out of the store I was left angry and contemplating over writing this. Worst customer service I have ever encountered! I have worked myself in customer service for more than 15 years and I would have to say this in my top 3 worst customer service encounters.
